My name is Dan and I'm so glad you've stumbled across our little corner of the web. Here, our aim is simple - we want to help everyday business owners share their stories and improve their business. We do this in a few different ways, but we are most proud of the business spotlights we cover. Everyday, social media and TV feeds are filled with billionaires sharing their insights for aspiring entrepreneurs. That's great, and they definitely deserve the stage. But so do the small business owners in your local community that may not be a billionaire, but may have grown an influential business in their community that prides itself on high-quality work and improving their community. Those are the business leaders we think deserve a bigger role in the conversation. Coupling this first-hand insight from business owners just like you (or future you) to help guide others through the good times and the bad, we also want to use the knowledge of our exceptional PhD educated team (myself included) to provide you with real trends and reports that matter as you navigate the ever-changing small business landscape.
